Brent Campbell

Chief Financial Officer

For over 30 years Brent has assisted, developed, and grown many businesses through a varied career in public accounting (Deloitte), retail (Marathon Global, The Phillips Companies, and Walmart), venture capital (Jumpstart Health Investors, Caduceus Capital Partners), manufacturing, logistics, importing (wine imports), and various other entrepreneurial pursuits. He is currently founder and CEO at C-Suite Now, a fractional executive services group focused on serving early-stage innovation companies.

After receiving his accounting degree from the University of Arkansas, Brent joined Deloitte in Denver, CO, specializing in taxation. After 5 years with Deloitte, he became tax director of a Fortune 500 company with operations across the US and many foreign countries. In the early 1990s Brent became CFO of The Phillips Companies, the largest private retail company in Arkansas, with grocery stores covering the state.

He helped facilitate the purchase of the majority interest held by the Walton family before ultimately assisting with the sale of The Phillips Companies to Walmart. Following his exit from Walmart, Brent has spent the last 25+ years as an entrepreneur, serving as founder, president, CEO or CFO of many startups and enjoying multiple successful exits along the way.

After serving for many years as CFO of Marathon Global, a retail consulting and services group, Brent became President in 2013. There he utilized his broad experience to lead a team serving a diverse client base, seeking to maximize sales growth through the discount, club, grocery, drug, and dollar retail channels.

Upon the sale of Marathon Global to Advantage Solutions in 2016, Brent founded C-Suite Now, where he serves various venture capital groups and their portfolio companies.
