NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Today, Caduceus Capital Partners finalized the sale of its shares in Janus Health (Janus) to Enhanced Healthcare Partners (EHP)—a leading private equity firm specializing in middle-market healthcare businesses—as a part of EHP’s strategic growth investment in Janus. Last year, Caduceus Capital Partners co-led Janus’s $8.8 million Series A capital raise.
“Revenue cycle is one of the most labor-intensive areas of healthcare, and Janus offers a great opportunity to make a positive difference in lowering costs and increasing efficiencies,” said Dave Vreeland, senior managing partner at Caduceus Capital Partners.
“At Janus, our mission is to empower health systems and their operational workforces to achieve more and reduce the cost of care nationwide. By effectively addressing revenue cycle challenges, our partners are better equipped to face issues such as labor shortages and shrinking reimbursements,” said Brendan Downing, co-founder and CEO of Janus.
Studies show that many health systems do not currently have revenue cycle automation, but plan to implement this technology soon. With Janus, revenue cycle leaders receive actionable insights into areas where their team can be more efficient through process modifications, task prioritization, re-training and automation.
“Janus is transforming the revenue cycle, increasing revenue, optimizing staff work and accelerating collections,” said Sue Tyler, Janus board member and venture partner at Caduceus Capital Partners. “This leading-edge technology combined with the team’s deep knowledge is driving excellent results for clients. The demand for Janus products just keeps growing.”
