Roy is an experienced healthcare technology leader with over 30 years of healthcare leadership experience serving in operational, technology and business development roles. He has a strong track record working with high-growth, high-intensity healthcare technology companies to exceed business, client and financial objectives. These companies include UnitedHealth Group’s Optum, Computer Sciences Corp, Perot Systems, First Consulting Group and EDS. Roy also helped start a healthcare technology and services company that saw tremendous growth, and was then sold to a public company. Most recently, Roy helped develop and execute strategic partnerships for Optum. These partnerships focused on growth for both Optum and the external company, often including equity and M&A components as part of the deal.
Roy is Chief Growth Officer for Upswing Health and an Advisory Board Member for Wellpay, Corp. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, and his Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University.
